Solnice – Restaurant

The Gothic Solnice, or Salthouse building, holds the fourth oldest roof truss of its kind in the Czech Republic. It was built in 1531
as the town granary. It was later used to stored weapons, then salt up until 1880. Due to its purpose as storage, the building never underwent any major constructional changes. It wasn’t until the 21st century that it was completely reconstructed. Now a multifunctional building, it has
a total of 4 aboveground floors with a capacity of 300 people: a pub, a restaurant, private area with conference technology for social and corporate events, and the attic which provides space for meetings, exhibitions and chamber concerts. The building’s reconstruction won
the Prize of the Association of entrepreneurs in construction in the Building of the Year competition in 2019.
